App - 18 y/o - can't code

Young Entrepreneur

I'm 18 and I tired of waiting until a better time, because I'm seeing some startups popping up offering services similar to my idea, just less efficiently and thorough as my product will be. I've got an idea for an app. I've fleshed out the app design, logo, name, culture/brand I'd be looking to use going forward and such, but being a non-coder I'm not sure what my next step would be. My app revolves around working with brands, so will need to somehow get the ear of them.

Hence, I've found the two key concepts, and hence challenges, facing my idea: coding of the app, brand relationship establishment.

In terms of coding, I have about 16k or so saved up from various things I've done in the past. I'd be looking to make an MVP first and foremost, but the idea of bringing in a CFO would be after the MVP, as I'm not looking to enter with another founder. I was thinking about using a company/eastern european coders to do so, but I'm worried about the job being poor/generic and costing exorbitant amounts. Any advice as to HOW to go about this (please don't offer your services - just looking for advice).

In terms of brand relationships, I would be looking at introducing this after the MVP is out, but the result would be having no revenue until I can build up a following (except a few ads - I presume some form of adsense could be used but I haven't researched this yet). How does a startup survive without money essentially, the running of servers, someone to ensure the app is running etc. I know places like Twitter have been making great losses since they were created (because they're reinvesting into the system) however how did Twitter go from a fresh startup to getting into this position, how did it get the initial funds for servers and minimum employees (who will get a % of the shares I expect as compensation over salary)? A bank wouldn't give out loans until there was something to show for it surely, and I don't think many would trust an 18 year old either.

Any advice about this or outside would be much appreciated.

NOTE: Just in case it isn't clear, my role would be dealing with brands, customers and driving business - but after several serious attempts coding is simply not for me.
