Cant connect with my friend

Me and my friend cannot connect to each other on PS4. We both get our internet through the same provider and have same plan actually. We both have open nat types and bat type 2. We've also did port forwarding but still cant connect. I have no idea what else to do and was wondering if I could get some help.
