Fresh start, haven't played in long while

Since I haven't played in a LONG while I decided to start from scratch again (not that I had gotten super far, all I really had was an Asp Explorer). With all the changes and new stuff, what is a reliable good way to get some cash coming in if you start out anew and which play styles are fun and entertaining?
