Pebble Time notification/SMS issues. Does my pebble need to retire?

Over the past few weeks I've noticed that I'm either missing SOME SMS notifications on my Pebble or they are coming in delayed. It might also be that it isn't always vibrating when it is supposed to. Are these signs that my pebble needs retirement?

Battery life still seems great but drains slightly faster than before.

My phone/settings haven't changed in a few years.

TIA for any insight. Just need to mentally prepare myself in case the worst is to come for my watch.
