What do you do with gifts from your BPD?

I have been LC at best lately. Christmas is the worst. My uBPD dad was always at his best at Christmas, except for the occasional rages over finances (always his fault) or broken ornaments or whatever. He never stored anything properly but always raged like a monster if something broke. That being said, it was mostly awesome.

Gifts always come with strings in my family though. And every year I get asked "what I want or need" and I always say NOTHING. And yet something comes. It drives me nuts. I don't want presents. They sent money in the past but I would rip up the checks. I don't want the strings, I don't want the gifts. And usually, they're terrible -- like socks that don't fit or weird art my Emom (who probably has DPD) sends.

I'm not NC (mostly for medical history reasons, we have a lot of diabetes in the family and I want to see from morbid curiosity if uBPD dad is killing himself from high sugars) but I want to send the gifts back. If it didn't cost money, I would do it.
