Far away there lies a small, secluded village hidden away by forests and mountains. With the difficult terrain visitors and traveling merchants are rare. Not only is the terrain itself treacherous, but monsters of all kinds roam and lurk in the dark woods. Yet the people of the village lead happy, prosperous lives and monster attacks are incredibly rare. The village is a haven for more civilized folk.

But how do they maintain that peace? How do they keep their village from being raided every night?

By making offerings to appease the beasts, of course.

One young, unmarried woman is chosen from the village to perform the nightly offerings for a full year. By day she is treated nearly like loyalty, with the villagers providing whatever she requires. It is thanks to her that they are safe after all. By night, she performs the ritual that keeps her people safe. Many young women prolong marriage for as long as possible so that they might be chosen more than once. Though a woman may not be chosen two years in a row, for the ritual is quite taxing.

The new year for the ritual, and the choosing, begins on the summer solstice. The entire village gathers around the stage that was erected a mile from the village in order to celebrate the choosing at sunset. It is for that night only that the village watches the chosen perform the ritual. It is that night where many of the girls in the village first want to become a chosen themselves.

What is the ritual, you might ask? The chosen women are beautiful, and voluptuous. Some cultures might even compare them to their symbols of fertility. After hundreds of years of performing the ritual, the women of the village have come to best suit the needs for its best possible performance. By willingly offering their beautiful bodies to the monsters, the chosen women sate the monstrous beasts.

Unbeknownst to the villagers, not all of the nightly visitors are local monsters. The village is famous in the monster world and some travel great distances to be able to fuck a woman of the fabled village. They all leave satisfied. Some staying for a while. The local monsters themselves can get a little attached to a woman. More than once a chosen has not returned after her final night, having left on her own accord to live with a monster whose cock she cannot live without.

So long as the villagers and monsters keep up both ends of the bargain, there will always be a new chosen.
