Sometimes I hate how making a post on Reddit is like playing the lottery

You might get some actual discussion or you might just get down voted for no explanation or comments. I know that is just how Reddit works but it gets frustrating sometimes because I imagine a lot of us put a far amount of effort into our posts and comments and then we get no feedback on them good or bad. I try to not let it get to me though haha.

Anyone else feel this way sometimes?
