Children’s tablet games?

When we take our 3 year old son to our main metropolitan library, they have a wonderful little area with tablets that have a ton of educational games for him to play. Unfortunately, the library isn’t close to our house so we can’t take him as often as we’d like. Our library uses Microsoft tablets (Surfaces, maybe?).

I was wondering if any librarians out there are familiar with the software that is used for the children’s games? Undoubtedly this varies from library to library, but I was hoping to get some direction on where to look. I would love to try to re-create the library setup in our home.
