Novo wont fire

I bought a Novo off my friend and it worked just fine for a day or so. But after that I started having a problem where it wouldn't fire unless I pulled quite hard. Since I was pulling quite hard I would also get juice coming up and rarely cotton as well. I changed to a newish pod but the problem persisted.

I saw a post about novo's firing too long as this problem happens with my brother's Novo. And I tried some of the fixes on that post (as I figuring it was a similar, yet opposite sensor problem) like blowing through the charger hole and cleaning out the inside. None of that stuff worked. Any tips?
