I can’t recognize my face on ambien(zolpidem)
Last night I took 10mg of prescribed ambien and went outside, but a strange thing I noticed was that when I looked into the mirror, I couldn’t believe that was how I looked like.
It seemed uglier and asymmetrical than usual to the point where I would be standing in front of the mirror for quite a long period wondering if this was really me.
I think it was due to dissociative features of the drug, but this particular effect didn’t happen on any other drug, which I thought was incredibly odd.
Not on alcohol, benzodiazepines, opiates, or even on classical dissociatives like dxm did I feel this way.
I wondered if anyone else had the same experience that I did, so I looked up on the internet, but yet to have found any posts mentioning this.
Anyways, ambiens are always bizarre 😆
