Are all vaporwave songs just ripoffs / plagarism?

Hey guys, i'm that much into Reddit but I just ran into a song called " The Approaching Night - Philip Wesley " on Soundcloud. I've recognized the vaporwave derivate and it made me think, is there actually any authentic vaporwave songs out there? Even tho it's been remixed, the core of the song is still there, and the same happens frequently on Youtube (without mentionning the "slow down and upload" kind of songs.

As far as I know, even popular guys like Blank Banshee use sound samples a lot.

What do you think?
