[META] Already paid for the tuition for Web Developer Course, but now i am having second thoughts. Need some advice .
I always wanted to have a career in something related to computers. Last year i inquired about coding bootcamp from Galvanized , but decided to just work another job because it is expensive . (25K)
A year has passed and i saw an ad for Coding bootcamp , same thing as the course offered by Galvanize, and it is cheaper. I decided to pull the trigger . I applied and got in. The tuition is around 10K . I payed the tuition already.
Then today, i realized that what if i dont get hired after graduation? What if the school is hard and i cant understand anything? Then end up failing the course .
I read about the job and employment rate for web developers which is good (15+% growth in 2024) , they make good money. But what if by the time i graduate , the market is fully saturated ? Or worse , i would end up holding a 10K piece of paper ?
I do not have much of a coding experience other than basic HTML and CSS. And some minor tweaking in a notepad for games that run on basic note editor . ( server for Ragnarok Offline )
I know reddit is full of developers, i need advice if i should proceed.
Thank you so much in advance.
