Quick Scarf Pattern for Last Minute Knitters - Ribber Required
Here's a quick scarf pattern for last minute knitters. I've done six in the last 1.5 weeks. You can bind off on the machine but, I've been doing a loose hand bind off.
T-0 on both beds C/O with wast yarn from 15L to 15R on the main bed and 14L to 14 R on the ribber in full needle rib.
Knit circular cast-on
T-4 on both beds knit 10 rows
Knit 1 row of ravel cord
Change to MC
knit 1 or 2 rows in main color
Set for tuck rib - MB Tucks to the left. RB Tucks to the right.
for my standard gauge knit 1000-1200 rows about 200 grams of fingering weight. Keep 3 grams for bind off.
Knit 1 row of ravel cord
knit 10 rows of wast yarn
remove from the machine
I made these on the Brother 930 but, I've made similar scarves on my Brother 260 bulky as well.
