Vocal pitch change after a while working out
Right so as the title says, after some time using heavy weights and just ya know, working out, I’ve noticed a vocal change. To clarify I’m biologically female and am not on testosterone or around people who use it topically. I’m 20. So it’s not like I waiting for anything to drop, let alone my voice.
I just noticed the other day, listening to the first episode of a show I was on. I sent it to my friend without saying anything about my voice. She said she loved it but that I sounded really high in it and did they alter my voice. No, during recording I used my normal voice. The only major change since recording a year ago and now in my life is that I’m plenty more active and fit. I’m weightlifting, rock climbing, fencing, on a local informal rugby team and aerial silks (my time management is chaotic).
About two years ago a doc noticed that I had extraordinarily high free testosterone levels for someone with indoor plumbing. He explained it was almost as high as a normal male’s. I’m on meds and all the side effects of the t have all disappeared. I’m outta touch with my endo now since they cleared up my lupus (kinda) so I dunno. Im only on 25 mg of spirinolactone - any more and it exacerbates my heart and seizure troubles. Could it be that since I’m naturally predisposed to higher T and I’m really rather active now that my free testosterone levels could have risen??
I’m honestly just curious. I don’t mind the fact that my voice is pretty damn deep compared to only some while ago - makes my stage presence even more sexy lol I’m just very curious as to why it happened and if it’s happened to anyone else. That’s bout it. Ta.
