What are the chances of getting another Khvostov (useable, not static easter egg) in Destiny 2?

I just picked up Destiny 2 (I always seem to buy Destiny content around December lol) and am disappointed to find that i cant get a new version of my favorite exotic, or common, rifle from Destiny 1. Is there any chance Bungie will add it in as a quest? Kind of like the quest in Destiny 1 or the quest in Forsaken to get Cayde's revolver?
