Opening a bank account

Nowadays it's difficult to open it I take it? For an average person who is on a tourist 90 days visa and who doesn't have a million dollars.

Are there ways to make the process simplier? Maybe I should obtain some better visa or document which is easy to obtain and then try to open a bank account?
