Apple care says phone is already replaced

I purchased an iPhone X with 256 gigabytes of storage about a year ago and along with it I also purchased the extended apple care plan for 200+ dollars I was intending on replacing the phone for free after it got scratched and dropped over the time I had it so I went to apples website to check my coverage before I brought it in and when I put in my serial number it says that the phone has already been replaced what do I do
