Kremlin announces new Minister of Defence

After the unfortunate and untimely demise of the beloved Dusan Vasiliev, Minister of Defence and highly decorated former Fleet Admiral, his successor has been announced.

Interestingly, this announcement was not accompanied by a full name, apparently at their own request. This request is highly unconventional, but it being granted would imply that this individual is exceedingly capable, enough to make such unorthodox deals with Kremlin high command worth making.

All that is known of this individual is the codename "Nikolai", and the Kremlin Correspondence account u/intensesteak85.
