Oneplus Bullets Wireless help

Hi, 

My OnePlus bullets wireless are brand new (2 weeks old) but when charging the red light will not turn white, even after they have been charging for hours. This just happened, it used to turn white.

if I unplug the charging cable and plug it in again, the light will turn white for about 1 second, then just go back to being red. 

otherwise the headphones work fine 

any suggestions on how to fix?
