What if Luke said yes?

What was Vader's long term plan if he was successful in turning Luke? Did he expect to make Luke a Sith apprentice (and therefore evil) or did he hope Luke could bring him back to the light after killing the Emperor? I really doubt just turning Luke over was an option (he'd make Vader irrelevant), so what was going through his head on Bespin?
