Live in a townhouse. My bedroom and den are downstairs. The air vent for heating/cooling is right next to my couch. It's loud enough that sometimes I pause a show or movie so I don't have to turn the volume way up. I can hear them chewing over the heat as they eat chips while watching TV upstairs.
