HELP laptop display issue

I went on a trip for 10 days and left my Acer Aspire laptop on my bed. When I came home I plugged it into the charger and turned it on. The screen would glitch out and would fade to almost complete white.

Anyone know why this would happen and how to solve it? Thanks
