Modern medieval castle/city builder games

Hello!

I would like recommendations on some medieval castle/city builder games in the vein of Stronghold and Banished. A game with a focus on city building, economics, and farming and minimal to no combat (or more 'automatic' combat like Stronghold). I've played most of the classics such as the Caesars, Patricians, and Pharaohs and am looking for something a little newer.

Edit: primary platforms for this are PC and 3DS. I've also played Stardew, all the Harvest Moons/Story of Seasons. I am on the fence about Rune Factory.
