cannibalizing an old build, unsure what parts I still need
Hello! Recently a good friend of mine was generous enough to give me an old build of his, and I intend to make my first build using most of the parts he gave me. I already took the entire thing apart in order to take a look at what parts are already there and to clean up some of the dust inside. I’ve put together a list of the parts it contained, but I’m still unsure of what exactly I’m still needing. I know I need a hard drive, but I’m not sure what type and if I need anything else, as well if any parts would be worth replacing (I can afford maybe $2-300 worth of immediate replacement parts). List of components below:
- Enermax Noisetaker II 600W PSU
- NVIDIA nForce 680sli Motherboard
- NVIDIA N275GTX Twin Frozr OC Graphics Card
- Four sticks of Komputer Bay 2GB RAM
- ASUS PCE-AC56 Wireless Adapter
- An intel CPU cooler that I can’t identify
- A card reader I also can’t identify
- A few fans
- Case
While it seems to be a somewhat aged build I wouldn’t be able to make my own, so this is what I have to work with haha
If I could get any help identifying any missing essential components, what kind of hard drive I should look for, and anything that seems like it would be worth replacing, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
