Should I talk to my General Practice about my Parents?

Hello so I’m a 19 year old transgender guy.

About 3 years ago, my parents sent me to conversion therapy, and I’ve not been the same since. I still wake up with nightmares sometimes, and I get pretty bad flashbacks. I was given antidepressants to treat my gender dysphoria and anxiety.

I started Testosterone without their knowledge/consent when I turned 19 (despite still living with them), because I couldn’t handle the mental fog I’ve had for the most of my life. I don’t remember a time I didn’t have that fog. It cleared up with T, and I haven’t experienced it again. I pay for it out of my own pocket, and the consultation is 200~ ish each time I go (every 3 months).

I’ve been seeing a General practice doctor to pick up my anti depressant prescription- but I’ve always been heavily monitored by my parents. I’m always accompanied by my father, to make sure I don’t tell the doctor anything they don’t want me to say.

But this week, I have a chance to go to my GP on my own. I want to tell her what’s going on, and everything, but I don’t even know if it’ll make much of a difference. I don’t even know what I would say really, other than “hey, so I went to a planned parenthood, and got T, and it helps, but my parents give me panic attacks, can you prescribe my T instead/ help me in some other way?”

But I don’t know what my parents have done other than not accept me/ send me to conversion therapy. They aren’t evil, I just get REALLY anxious spending time with them. To the point where I have to hide in my restroom to have a moment to breath.

I don’t even know what telling my GP would do??

should I go?
