Tobycool2001_1 | R&D Visit (Text Post)

Tobycool2001_1 today decided to visit a local research and development agency to meet some of the scientists, engineers, designers and researchers there.

He also aimed to talk about the need for increased research and development funding.

"AustraliaSim is a nation founded on advancement. Advancement of equality, advancement of self, advancement of living and the advancement of technology.

Technological development is a vital part of our economy. From the Hill's Hoist to Wifi, we have invented so many vital products which have impacted our lives in so many ways. We, as a nation, reap not only economic benefits from this technology, but also social benefits such as better interconnectiviry, better healthcare, better education and better employment.

Thus, this term I will do everything in my power to increase funding for science and development from around 5.2% back up to the 6% allocated by most Australian governments, regardless of party affilisgion, in recent history."
