LGPE crazy shiny stories

So I'll preface this by saying shiny hunting in this game is awesome. But I will also say it's so much more stressful. Ive been hunting for a living shiny dex that's also competitively viable since I beat the game and I'm now hunting the weedle line. I started this hunt Friday evening and have seen 9 shiny pokémon off of two different 31+ weedle combos the first one was a pidgey and I decided to let it despawn since I actually already have the entire line from random spawns off my previous hunts. The next was a caterpie which I decided to let go since I just finished that line. After a little while longer another caterpie popped up and I thought that's so weird I wonder if I'll see another before my hunt ends. And in less than an hour it showed up again. Still no weedle but I have seen 4 shinies and 3 were the same! Finally this morning I got my first weedle and within minutes a bulbasaur spawned and I broke my chain because you can never have too many shiny bulbasaur. About an hour after getting my combo to 31 again, a shiny caterpie spawned and I thought to myself this is crazy, it's taunting me. I let it despawn again. 4 times. I've never been so cavalier about giving up a shiny but at this point I'm kinda hoping that if I let it survive in the wild it'll evolve and I'll see it show up as a metapod or butterfree. (I know that's not how it works I just like to imagine). After a little while longer I see it again. 8 shiny pokémon so far and 5 have been caterpie. Where were all of these during my hunt a few days ago? And lastly right before I decided to write this post another shiny bulbasaur appeared. Only 1 weedle out of 9 shinies. I've broken my combo twice now and am done for the day. So share your crazy hunts down below

Edit: today I started the hunt again and immediately after getting my weedle combo to 31 a shiny bulbasaur popped up, which I caught, so I got my combo to 31 again and within 10 minutes a shiny oddish appeared, caught this and started again. About 30 minutes after 31 combo a shiny metapod showed up. After ignoring him 5 times that caterpie evolved!!! I caught him and I'm done for the night. Apparently weedle doesn't want to shine for me yet so we'll try again tomorrow
