Moog One vs Waldorf Quantum
So, i bought a Waldorf Quantum like two months ago, and i’m pretty excited about it tbh. I’m aware that the Quantum is a bit sketchy with how much time Waldorf’s taking to deliver the first sold units and there’s generally a bit of skepticism towards it in general. It seems too good to be true. But - with all that it promises to deliver and the insane amount of routing options, i’d be willing to wait.
The Moog One, on the other hand, came out and i’m debating whether to switch my purchase to a Moog One. I had a Sub37 before and liked it, but i thought it was kind of a one trick pony. The filter sound is instantly recognizable and annoyingly great sounding. Ironically because of this i used it less and less until i sold it.
Have any of you had experience with both? Which would you choose? Why?
I make trip-hop-ish, dark, industrial and experimental music in the context of a band.
