Looking for indestructible headset or headphones

My 12yr breaks every headset within a few months....whether its the earcups cracking or the mic getting destroyed. As of now I have my eye on the Astro A10 due to this durability test displayed in this review. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqESIzRy1QI

I plan on buying him a desktop mic so a mic on the headset isn't necessary....are there any better options out there that can withstand the beating of the A10. (A10 sound quality isn't great but durability is what I am after)
