Brion Stoutarm Help

Hello! This is my first post on pretty much any magic subreddit ever. I have come to the wonderful r/EDH to ask for some advice!!! I've been working on a couple of builds for Brion Stoutarm. One is more Big Boi Slinging focused and the other, more recent edition is theft. I vastly prefer the theft idea, and would like some criticism. I have a budget of <200 but a little over wouldn't be the end of the world.

My deck here

This deck has a artifact/enchantment subtheme (plenty of equipment and one aura) that I'd like to keep if possible. I care less about having Big Bois of my own to sling, however I did put a few low mana cast ones that i can easily cast and sling earlier in the game such as [[cosmic larva]] and [[phyrexian soulgorger]].

If nothing else, I would be very appreciative to know if I've gone down the right route. I want to have fun with this deck, slam a lot of boi-to-face, but also be competitive (in a weird battle-cruiser sorta way). I mainly play EDH with my SO, however in the future I'd like to play in bigger pods. So, for now, my plans for this deck are mostly focused on 1v1.

Do you think Theft Stoutarm is worth it? or should I just go with my Big Boi slammin' route. I'll send the list to my other version if anyone wants to see it.
