t3 cures my IBS

A while ago while in the ER for something unrelated I was told my thyroid was low and to follow up with my doctor. Next time I came in they did a blood test and it came back "within normal range", but on the low end. I asked if it could be related to my abdominal issues and was brushed off. I've had fairly frequent IBS for years, just bloating, thin stool, abdominal pains. unpleasant and uncomfortable, but doesn't technically stop me from living life. lost 50lbs, changed diet, exercise now, everything they wanted me to do. I recently ordered cytomel from an overseas pharma to see if it was related or not, save the lecture for later please, and upon taking 25mcg a day all my abdominal issues are resolved. Normal stool, normal appetite, no abdominal pain, no bloating. I honestly just felt normal and it was wonderful. I tapered myself off of the medication and i soon returned to my normal bloated grumpy self. Why did this medication help and how can I bring this up with my provider? now that I know what it's like to not have these symptoms every day I can't imagine living like this now.
