Mecha-Strategy-RPG like the original Front Mission for SNES

Hi Folks,

its probably a long shot since the game is super old now, but it was always one of my favourites ever, but sadly the rest of the franchise never reached the first game imo. Im wondering if there is a newer game with similar mechanics. I especially liked the turn based fighting system and the power grind through acquiring parts and managing your mechas.
