People who are not directly affected by a public policy should not have add much say in the matter as people who are.

Just as an example, people who have had an abortion or those who kept a child they considered adopting, or those who were directly affected by people around then making these choices should get a bigger voice either in social media or in actual voting on the policy, than people like say a 50 year old man who never had to grapple with these choices.
