Is it even possible for a straight trans single mother transitioning in her '30s to find love?
The title pretty much sums it up. I'm too early in my transition to pursue anybody romantically yet, but these anxieties weigh heavily on my mind, that even if I were cis I'd be in a demographic unappealing to men, that on top of it I can never give him his own kids, that even if he's open to dating trans women he has the option of dating women who transitioned earlier and are cis passing, that I could never possiblely be feminine enough for a straight man, that even if I somehow pull off this miracle if I ever slip up the gay panic will set in and he'll leave me for better options, that I'll need to accept abuse or compromise myself in the bedroom to be worth considering as a sexual partner, that maybe I should preemptively accept my fate as a piece of meat to be used by strangers or somebody's dirty little secret because maybe that's the closest thing to love I could possibly find. It all seems so impossible and I'm terrified of ending up alone and I feel so stupid for failing to realize all of this about myself at a time in my life when I could have had a chance.
