Where to get yarn checker?

I make a lot of blankets, hats and scarves for the nursing homes here as well as the domestic abuse shelter I intern at and the rape crisis center victims. I go through a lot of yarn and I was wondering if anyone can recommend a place to get bulk yarn cheaper then the craft stores?
