I've made it to level 94 and I still have no idea what am I doing with my atlas. Any help?

I'm playing a MF windripper build that I started during bestiary league and I now keep playing on standard because it's fun. I made it to level 94 by just chiseling and alching random t7-t10 maps, I recently started doing t11 red maps too, vaaling them and playing around with white/yellow sextants but I feel like Im wasting a lot of time and currency by not fully understanding how the atlas works.

If my main goal is to get lvl 100 and then keep farming w/e for currency, what should I aim for with my atlas? Right now it's at 106/159 and I have 6 shaper's memory fragments. Should I focus on my atlas completition or should I keep spamming the highest random maps I have? Which maps should I shape? Are shaped or elder maps better for XP/currency farming?

Sorry it these are stupid questions but I really do not understand how it works, I've tried watching youtube videos but some of them are hours long and I dont have the time, and even if I do watch them I cant understand anything because it seems like rocket science
