I (22/M) need some advice

Im not very good at socializing with people. However, yesterday, for the first time in my life. I saw a really cute girl sit down on a bench. So i summoned up the herculean courage to go and talk to her. I think she is about my age, i never asked We actually talked for almost an hour and she sent me some decently positive signals like laughing at things i say, smiling alot and engaging me in conversation. I even managed to get her phone number at the end of the encounter. It may not sound very groundbreaking but i was very proud of myself for taking the chance!

Naturally I am currently in a state of overthinking things. I sent her a text this morning saying that i enjoyed hanging out with her and i told her to have a good weekend and she reciprocated my text by saying the same about me.

I want to take her on a date but the holidays are a busy time for people. She lives in my town for the local university but her family is from upstate. I honestly have no idea how to chase after her right now. I dont want to squander my chances by having her think im too over eager.

I have honestly never officially asked a girl on a date in my life so this is very new to me. Haha im done being lonely
