Just starting out, Python or C#? Or both?

Starting from nothing just downloaded Visual studio and visual studio code, no idea where to go from here, I have no idea what separates their uses or application except for that python is easier. I want which one will be more beneficial for fun and for careers. Thanks, any ideas will help!
