Does anyone else get the random level 1 horse bonding?

Occasionally and annoyingly I keep seeing that me and my horse have only just achieved bonding level 1... I’ve been riding my Arabian for long enough and have max bond with it but when I see that it gets annoying not only because it’s not true but when I pat my horse whilst riding, it doesn’t give the stamina boost and they run out of stamina faster until the game recognises the real horse bonding level.
