My mom showed me her cuts yesterday..

I'm 18, and yesterday my mom came into my room crying, blood dripping down her leg, and showed me fresh cuts. She said she wants me to know I'm not alone and we havent talked about it since. I feel like I am not the right person for her to talk to about this, but I dont want her to feel like a burden. Any advice?
