Is visualizing everything you hear/say a form of syn, or is it normal?

I many types of synesthesia, but I was wondering if anyone/everyone else also visualizes everything they hear or say. Along with ticker tape, I also see "mini movies", I guess you can call them, whenever someone is talking to me or when I'm telling someone something. I was wondering if this is a normal thing or only synesthetes experience this.
