Are there any similar books in terms of being based around a small crew? I know about series like revelation space etc.

So I've been searching the subreddit and all the suggestions are like large galactic conflict and alien invasions etc, which sound awesome and I've ordered the books. But i'm wondering if there's any books that focus on a crew, more like firefly or mass effect 2, cause that's my favourite aspect of the series. Thanks
