Just finishing my DS9 run-through

So I'm just beginning the 90-minute series finale of Deep Space Nine.

I've seen it before, years ago when I was working from a list of dominion-war episodes only. But having run through all 7 seasons on Netflix it feels different.

Especially the last 7 or 8 episodes one right after the other, it's really the sort of arc that you'd want to binge watch. You've got all these different plot lines going back to far earlier in the series, all coming to a head - the war, the prophets, the Ferengi* etc. I know it ended in 1999, but it really feels like a series from 2009 or later. I'm just glad it's all on Netflix.

*my iPad suggested "free gift" as a replacement for Ferengi. Come on, Apple.
