Foundation Company put metal rod through sewer line.
A month or so ago, I had my foundation fixed on my house. It included having 4 piers put in, and 6 rods and plates to pull my basement back into place.
One of the 6 rods went straight through my sewer line, which we discovered with a camera the second time the plumbing company came out.
I called the foundation company and they took a look. I have not heard back.
I believe they are liable to completely fix the mistake and pay the plumbers I had come out to find the mistake. I’m wondering if they are also liable for more. Should I expect to get money refunded for the foundation work itself? I live in Indiana.
