A Sliver Overlord question

For my EDH Sliver deck, if I use an Amoeboid Changeling to change an opponent's creature into a Sliver (which lasts until end of turn) and take control of it with Sliver Overlord (whose control doesn't end at end of turn), then do I still have control of the creature after it changes back to it's original type.

Don't think it would work, but I thought it was a crazy grey area that I would like to clear up. Thanks for any input!
