[Help] How to check carrier unlock status without sim?

Does anyone know if there's a way to check if my AT&T S8+ is carrier unlocked without a different carrier's sim card? I got an unlock code from AT&T and am just trying to verify it worked before I sell it on swappa. I tried calling AT&T and they couldn't tell me. Is there like a dialer short code for that or something?
