FH4 might have the worst online multiplayer experience in the history of video games

I need to vent about this half assed multiplayer. How can a game this good have such a poor online component? I don't need to drone on about how ridiculous team adventure is, and how just straight up unfun and frustrating freeroam rush is. Even the actual races are a ragefest. How can I be behind someone who is full speed ramming into every single turn and not be able to catch them when I'm hitting turns perfectly? God forbid one of those people is behind you. Also, why can't I just choose what class I want to race and matchmake? Why is the loading between races so insanely long? I don't enjoy watching my character sit there doing push ups next to my car while that horrid menu music plays that can't be turned off for some reason.

I want to like the online but it's just a rage fest and I'm about to give up on the game for good.
