Thoughts on Nomad?

I’m extremely impressed with Nomad. When she was announced I thought her gadget seemed cool but kind of gimmicky and I wasn’t sure how useful it would be. But man, her airjab so good at covering her flanks. Her primaries aren’t great though which helps balance her out. The .44 magnum is OP for sure but it’s getting a much deserved nerf so it won’t be for long.

I’ve died immediately after being airjabbed a few times and honestly I never felt like it was cheap or too strong. They’re very easy to detect so there’s some strategy involved in where you place them. It punishes roamers and flankers who are running blindly down hallways and through doorways and I love that.

Overall I think she’s a really damn good operator and I’m having a ton of fun with her, and perhaps most importantly, she’s not infuriating to play against. The TTS nerf where her airjabs no longer detonate on impact was perfect and brought her down to a good place in my opinion. What are your thoughts on her? She’s definitely not weak but is she OP?
