Question about dongle for PS2

Hey everyone, I just bought a Guitar hero 5 bundle and they didn’t mention there was no dongle with it. Can I use any PS2 dongle for the guitar hero 5 controller, or does it have to be the one that was supposed to come with Guitar hero 5? Thank you very much!
