This subreddit helped me take the plunge into the menstrual cup world! But first, I have a few questions:

I took the PACII quiz and decided on the Lena Sensitive cup, in small. It just arrived today and it’s surprisingly smaller that it seems online. I’m very excited and honestly looking forward to my period for the first time, haha.

I just have a few questions..

• How do you know when it is full?

• How do you dump it in public when there is not a stall with a private sink? Just dump and reinsert?

• How do I know if the small cup size is too small?

• Can I wear my cup at the very end of my period when I’m basically just spotting? and at the very beginning when I just feel cramps?

• How do I know if I should trim the stem?

• How often should I wash it during a cycle, other than sterilizing it at the very end of my cycle?
